Taranaki Cricket Association will be running a winter coaching programme for age group cricketers during Term 2 and Term 3 2017. The programme will be an 8 session programme with players coordinated in small squads to run weekly sessions to work on identified skill development and drills designed to set the players up for pre season training and in season performance. Much of this remedial and skill development work is difficult to fit in during the season with team practices, so this is a good time to get a good base leading up to this. The programme will be coordinated by TCA Coaching Coordinator Jamie Watkins with support from qualified TCA staff. Players will be put into groups depending on age and grade to allow for specific development of individual players. The cost of $100 covers the full programme. If payment is not done online then please bring full payment (cash or cheque) to the 1st session, with any cheques made out to Taranaki Cricket Association. The session days and times will be confirmed after registrations are received but will run from the week beginning 5th June to week ending 13 August. TCA will also accept registrations as a team group if it is better for a specific rep or school squad to join together for the programme.
